During the year LocalTAU sets out to have meaningful, cool, stimulating, and University-connected Talks & Events. We bring extraordinary alumni , rockstar scientists as well as professors of TAU, and local leadership, creating a space for conversation spotlighting major themes and forming part of the betterment as well as evolution of the city.

LocalTAU is run under the auspices of American Friends of Tel Aviv University (AFTAU) which is a
recognized 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States.
All funds go toward the best high impact projects chosen by the LocalTAU board led by the students and researchers from one of the top research universities in the world, Tel Aviv University.
